This year, the Catholic Community of St. Paul celebrates the 60th anniversary of its founding, which took place in 1954. On October 19th, the festivities began with Bishop Noonan presiding over a special dedication mass. On October 26th, a parish picnic was held at the school’s sport’s pavilion. Members of St. Paul’s Catholic School’s BETA Club chapter helped at the picnic, managing games for all of the children in attendance. During this special anniversary year, there will be many guest visits and concerts, such as the school’s annual Christmas concert, which was held on December 11th, as well as a handbell ensemble performance in the church. The conclusion of the year-long anniversary celebration will occur on September 21, 2015 with the final event being a cruise to the coast of Norway and the Arctic Circle that will return to port on October 5, 2015.
